A few years ago, Carter was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer after previously facing Stage 2 earlier in her life. When her doctor recommended Team Survivor Northwest, she was especially excited to learn about the hikes and walks. Being out in nature has become something she truly loves, each walk bringing a sense of motivation and empowerment.

Ingrid was diagnosed with Stage 3B ovarian cancer and, after completing treatment, turned to Team Survivor Northwest at her oncologist’s suggestion. She first attended the retreat and quickly fell in love with the organization. Since then, she’s enjoyed hiking, water aerobics and pilates, building both strength and connection, and is excited to try dragon boating next.
