2010 Mount Adams Climb
On July 19-22 and August 9-12, two groups of women cancer survivors will embark on a four day journey to summit the second highest peak in Washington State. For each climber, training for and completing this event is a celebration of life and recovery, a chance to work together in a team with other women who have had similar experiences, and a great opportunity to improve their individual levels of fitness (one of the single best things each woman can do to improve their odds for survival).
And, just as important, they are raising awareness and funds for an organization that has helped each of them in their own personal journey of recovery; Team Survivor Northwest.

Congratulations to Mt. Baker Climb Team members Lori Gard, Mary Lee Hewitt, Debra Adams, Judy Turchin, Paula Tomlinson, Judy Killion, Dr. Julie Gralow, Dr. Kristine Rinn, Sandi Glasow!
Together, the team raised over $20,000 for Team Survivor Northwest's programs. They participated in a five month long training program that ended with a three day climb of Mt.Baker (10, 781ft) with guides John Murkowski and Richard Alpert.
